You Start Needing to Know

The market hasn’t opened yet.

Coffee in one hand.

Mouse in the other.

You check the futures.

Nothing unusual.

You open another chart.

Then another.

Then the news.

Then someone else’s opinion.

Your setup is already there.

You’ve seen it.

You know your plan

Still you keep looking.

Just one more thing.

Maybe there is something you missed.

Maybe someone else sees it differently.

Maybe one more chart will make the decision easier.

Five minutes pass.

Then ten.

The setup is still there.

You’re still looking.

What are you waiting for?

Or is it something else entirely?

You tell yourself you’re being careful.

Doing your homework.

You don’t want to rush.

That sounds responsible.

Until you ask yourself one question.

How much information is enough?

Really.

What else would you have to see before you felt ready?

One more chart?

One more indicator?

One more expert?

Suppose someone could tell you exactly what price was going to do during the next hour.

Would that finally be enough?

Or would you still wonder, “But what if they’re wrong?

You already know the answer.

Because you’ve been here before.

You found another opinion.

Then another.

You watched another video.

Read another post.

Looked at one more chart.

And somehow you still didn’t feel ready.

The strange part is the information kept changing.

Your behaviour didn’t.

You kept searching.

Not because the setup changed.

Because the feeling didn’t.

How many trades have you missed?

Not because your plan changed.

But because you never felt ready?

Think back to the trades you’ve actually taken.

Did you ever feel completely certain?

Or did you simply reach a point where you decided, “This is enough.

The market never says, “Now it’s safe.

It never says, “You can’t lose on this one.

It never says, “You’ve done enough research.

It simply wants you to decide.

And that’s the part you were never quite ready for.

Then one morning, you notice something.

Your mouse reached for another chart.

Then stops.

Nothing changed.

The setup didn’t change.

The news didn’t change.

The market didn’t change.

Only one thing changed.

You stopped waiting to feel ready.

You never needed one more opinion.

You never needed one more headline.

You never needed one more chart.

One morning you clicked.

Not because you knew.

Because you stopped waiting to know.

And somehow, that was enough.
